Taking a huge step in the right direction, sisters, Kayla and Keonna Davis, may be the youngest African American beauty storeowners in California. Kayla, 19 and Keonna, 21 began their career in the hair care industry as an answer to a very common problem. These young ladies were frustrated and unable to find jobs within their local community. At the behest of their mother, the two became young entrepreneurs selling their hair products online. Their parents matched the money from their online sales along with savings. The rest is history. KD Hair Care Supply (LINK http://kdhaircaresupply.com ) is located at 24453 Sunnymead Blvd in Moreno Valley, California.
Both Kayla and Keonna seem to have the best outlook about their new business. “I’m my own boss, I don’t have to listen to anybody, I make my own rules!” beamed Kayla. While Keonna added, “You’re very tired at the end of the day. But it’s very much worth it because it’s your own store.” The girls have seen steady business since opening its doors. If you are in the area, stop by and patronize their business.
