In this episode the ladies discuss their earliest memories of getting their hair styled and taken care of as children. The style that is showcased in this video is the bantu knot out and there is some great history given behind the “Bantu Knot’.
1. Make sure section is properly detangled, this will result in a smoother result on take down 2. Make sure the knots are tight at the roots, by doing this you will avoid puffy roots 3. The bigger the knot/section the bigger the curl and the smaller the knot/section the smaller the curl. 4. Twist or braid the section before wrapping in a knot for extra definition. 5. Be sure to properly secure banu knot end to base, use bobby pins if needed.
